How to Get to Ericeira: Travelling to Our Portugal Surf Retreat

Once you have booked, the next little flurry of questions is always about getting there. How do I get to Ericeira? Which airport? Can I share a lift with the others? None of it is complicated, and we hold your hand through the lot. Here is the simple version.

Fly into Lisbon

Lisbon is your airport. It is well connected from across the UK and Europe, with direct flights from most major cities, so you can usually find something that suits your budget and the time you want to arrive. Aim to land in the afternoon on our start day if you can, so you arrive relaxed rather than rushing.

From Lisbon to Ericeira

Ericeira sits just up the coast from Lisbon, roughly forty five minutes by car. You have a few options once you land:

• Share a transfer with the group. This is what most of our women do, and it is the loveliest way to arrive. As soon as you book, we set up a WhatsApp group for everyone coming, and flights get shared so lifts from the airport fall into place naturally. You will have made your first friend before you have even reached the villa.
• A private transfer or taxi. Simple and door to door if you would rather travel on your own schedule.
• Hire a car. Only worth it if you fancy exploring the coast on your free afternoons. You will not need one for the retreat itself, everything is taken care of.

Getting around once you are here

You will not need to think about transport during the week. We handle everything from the villa to the beach and back, so once you arrive you can put your card away and simply be on holiday.

Coming to our Cornwall days

For our UK surf and yoga days, everything is closer to home and we send you the exact meeting details and directions once you have your spot. Same promise though, you will never be left to work it out alone.
